We are delighted to welcome Mitchell Lauer to the role of Mr. Verious, the C.E.O. of Who Is Esther and if ever there was a performer built for commanding a room, it is Mitchell. A seasoned character actor with a gift for both comedy and drama, he brings an impressive depth of experience to this pivotal role.
Mitchell’s theatre credits are wide-ranging and wonderfully diverse, from Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof and Horace Vandergelder in The Matchmaker to the formidable Richard III and Schroeder in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. He has also produced and directed Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, proving that his talents extend well beyond the stage itself. Mitch has a playful range that he brings to every performance.
Trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and Sheridan College’s Musical Theatre Program, Mitchell’s foundation spans acting, voice, singing, movement, stage combat, and more. A Tenor/Baritone with a flair for character work and comedic timing, he is precisely the kind of performer who makes every scene richer.
Mr. Verious has most certainly met his match — and so have we!
