You’re ready to go!

Thanks for your interest! We are looking to work with a small number of musical and choir directors who want to make a unique impact in the development of the musical Who is Esther, while also adding some great music to their repertoire!

There is no fee to participate, and no licensing fees for the music. We will provide sheet music and audio files for each part (and a director’s score), and we ask only that you provide a video recording of a performance.  Of course, we would love your feedback and suggestions on the music and arrangement too. 

We hope that Sing with Esther will provide you and your choir a unique opportunity to make a difference… and have some fun. 

First thing you’ll want to do is listen to the two songs: you can sing either one… or both!.  Corner Block (SATB) is the first song of the musical; it’s a ballad with a funk-hip bridge.  The Finale (SSAATTB) is a multi-layered mash-up of key songs from the musical; it’s a bit more challenging.  Please note that both songs can be sung with or without vocal percussion (“beatboxing”).  The sheet music (including the conductor’s score) can be downloaded below if you wish to follow along as you listen.

You can download all of the parts (including the score) and then send them to your singers.

When each choir member practices by themselves, they can use the sheet music and/or the audio reference tracks.  We hope these optional  tracks make it easier for you to bring your choir up-to-speed just that much faster. 

Please remember that you should not feel “locked” into the interpretations suggested by the reference tracks. Free to suggest (or try) changes: speed, dynamics, style, harmonization, etc.

We have NOT provided any recommendations or sheet music for vocal percussion, as we wanted to provide as wide a stylistic canvas for this part as we could, and didn’t want to limit either the percussionist's ability to innovate… or your flexibility to provide stylistic and musical direction.
