Stay with me. This year, for the 4th time, I’ll be participating in the 200km Ride to Conquer Cancer in June. Doing the Ride took every ounce of my energy, but listening to all of the people sitting on lawn chairs along those 200km, with signs with their family member’s names, shouting “You’re riding for ________”, over and over again, was highly emotional – and very inspiring.
What’s it like, participating in a ride with 5000 other riders? As a Hall-of-Fame speaker, I can share that the feeling is very much like being on stage, looking at a huge audience. There is electricity is in the air, and you know it will be a moving experience. Perhaps this is also the reason I’m drawn to live theatre. There is an electricity that is in the theatre too.
The name of our Ride team? Who Is Esther, of course!
