Travel
Kingston easily accessible via Highway 401 - it sits about half-way between Toronto and Montreal, and 2h from Ottawa. If driving isn't your thing, it is also well-served with frequent VIA rail service, and Bus service.
Note that Via Rail currently has two travel deals that are active during August:
- Children and Youth under 17 travel free (Discount code is CANADAFAM)
- Adults 18-24 get 25% off (Discount code is CANADA1824)
- Seniors are eligible for reduced fares simply by purchasing senior tickets.
Accommodation
Kingston is a beautiful and historic city on the shores of Lake Ontario.
